This report provides a schedule of the parades held in Brooklyn each year.

We update parades and festival events as we approach the event date. Only Asterisked events have been updated to 2026. Pay attention to the dates / year.

The parades we feature not only include the majors but also the minors and the new ones as we become aware of them. We expect to add about 5 to 10 new parades or events to each month as the year progresses. As the year unfolds, you will be able to scroll down to see for yourself.

• * January 14, 2024 beginning at 3 pm - Three Kings Parade in Brooklyn. The parade begins at Meeker Avenue, travels along Graham Avenue to Flushing Avenue and Broadway in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. • Sunday, February 2, 2025 beginning at 11 am - Bensonhurst Chinese New Year Parade - in the Bensonhurst neighborhood of Brooklyn. The parade starts at 65th Street and marches up to 83rd Street along 18th Avenue. Organized by the Chinese American Social Services. • Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm - Brooklyn Chinese American Association Chinese New Year Parade. The parade begins at 60th Street and 8th Avenue in Sunset Park in Brooklyn NYC. • * Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2.30 to 4.30 pm - Holi Celebration in Prospect Park - at Prospect Park Boathouse at 101 East Drive in the northeast section of Prospect Park near Crown Heights and Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn. • March 15 - Park Slope
• Sunday, March 16, 2025 beginning at 1 pm - 50th Annual Brooklyn Saint Patrick's Parade. At 10.30 am there's a church service at Holy Name of Jesus Church at 245 Prospect Park West. The St. Patrick's Day parade assembly begins at Bartel-Pritchard Square at 14th Street [assembly stretches to 9th St] at the southwest corner of Prospect Park in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. At 1 pm there's a dedication to the 911 firefighter. At 1.30 pm the parade kicks off at Prospect Park West and 15th St and then marches to 7th Avenue. It turns right onto 7th Avenue & marches to Garfield Place, where it turns right again heading back to Prospect Park West, where it turns right again & circles back to 15th Street where there's a celebration / after party from 2 - 5 pm at Holy Name of Jesus Church at 245 Prospect Park West. • March 22 - Bay Ridge
• Sunday, March 23, 2025 beginning at 1 pm - 30th Annual Bay Ridge Brooklyn Saint Patrick's Parade. The parade kicks off on 3rd and Marine Avenues and marches north along 3rd Avenue to 67th Street, turning west and ending in Owl's Head Park in Bayridge. The grandstand is at 77th Street.   • Generally there's a pre-parade fundraiser held in February. Patrick's Day parades in the Bayridge neighborhood of BK NYC.

  • BUT _ on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 1 to 10 pm there is a Cinco de Mayo Party being hosted within Industry City at 220 36th Street. It seems like a food, beverage and entertainment (?) event. Free admittance and the rest is paid.

• Bay Ridge _ Sunday, May 18, 2025 beginning at 1.30 pm - Norweigan Day Parade - The parade steps off at 85th Street marching north along 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge. The parade then turns right [eastward] on 75th Street [aka Bay Ridge Parkway], before turning left [resumes northward journey] onto 5th Avenue, to 67th Street at which time it turns right [eastward again] marching alongside Lief Ericson Park where it ends between 6th and 7th Avenues where the reviewing stand is. • Wednesday - Tuesday, May 21 - May 27, 2025 - Brooklyn Fleet Week. Update for 2025 coming soon.
  • The details of 2023 are below, including a url. There was a fly over by the U.S. Navy on Tuesday afternoon [5/23/23] over the East Coast Memorial at Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan. In addition to three U.S. Navy ships, there will also be ships from Italy, Canada and the U.K. The ships will be docked at Piers 88 & 90 on the west side of Manhattan, as well as at the Homeport Pier on Staten Island.   • There does not appear to be any Memorial Day Parades planned in Manhattan BUT there are Memorial Day related events at the Intrepid Air & Space Museum, as well as at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn and at Port Pier at 305 Front Street in Stapleton on Staten Island. Fleet Week runs from the middle of the week prior to Memorial Day and ends the Tuesday 5/30/23 following Memorial Day. So say hello and greet / salute the visiting members of the U.S. Navy when you see them. • Carnarsie _ Monday, May 26, 2025 from 10 am - 12 noon - Brooklyn Canarsie Lions Club Memorial Day Parade - Assembly begins in the parking lot of the Holy Family Church at 9719 Flatlands Avenue. The parades heads southeast along East 98th Street to Avenue M. It then turns right heading southwest along Avenue M before turning right heading northwest along Remson Avenue, where the parade marches a couple of blocks before stopping at the Carnarsie Cemetery to honor the fallen. After the cemetery commemoration ceremony, the parade continues north on Remson turning right onto Conklin Avenue, ending at the American Legion at 1130 East 92nd Street. • Bay Ridge _ Monday, May 26, 2025 beginning at 11 am - The 158th Brooklyn / Kings County / Bay Ridge Memorial Day Parade - steps off on 3rd Avenue and 78th Street in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. The parade proceeds down to Marine Avenue, up to 4th Avenue, then over to John Paul Jones Park for their memorial service which includes bag pipes, flag raising and wreath laying by Veteran Service Organizations. This is followed by a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps by the Veteran Corps of Artillery. Organized by the United Military Veterans of Kings County. • Bedford Stuyvesant _ Monday, May 26, 2025 from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm / 4 pm - 14th Bedford Stuyvesant Veterans' Memorial Day Parade - Assembles at 11.30 am, steps off 12 noon from Restoration Plaza at 1368 Fulton Street in Bedford Stuyvesant in Brooklyn. The parade marches north to BVSJ HQ at 665 Willoughby Plaza in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn, where at 1 pm there will be closing ceremonies. Organized by the Black Veterans for Social Justice. • Sunset Park _ Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 5 to 9 pm - 9th Annual Sunset Park Puerto Rican Day Parade & Festival. The parade begins at 5 pm along 5th Avenue at 59th Street, and marches up to 43rd Street. At at 6.30 pm the Sunset Park Puerto Rican Day festival begins in Sunset Park. There will be a couple of bands, including at least one salsa band as well as food for sale via trucks. Parades in the Sunset Park neighborhood of BK. • Bushwick _ Sunday, June 8, 2025 assembling at 1 pm & kicking off at 3 pm - Bushwick Knickerbocker Puerto Rican Day Parade. Begins at Woodbine Street & Knickerbocker Avenue near the Bushwick Playground and marches east ending near Trinity Cemetery. The parade ends around 4 pm. • Park Slope _ Saturday, June 14, 2025 beginning at 7.30 pm [in 2024 they said until 10 pm] - Annual Brooklyn Pride Parade. The parade begins at Lincoln Place, marching along 5th Avenue and ending at 9th street. LGBTQ parades in Prospect Park / Park Slope Brooklyn NYC. For details see - https://brooklynpride.org

• Coney Island _ Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 1 to 5 pm - Coney Island Mermaid Parade - begins assembly at 10 am and then at 1 pm begins marching east along Surf Avenue from West 21st Street [heading east] to West 10th Street, where it turns south toward the Boardwalk. At the Boardwalk it heads east again and ends at Steeplechase Plaza. At around 4 pm beginning at the Judge's stand along Surf Avenue between West 15th & 16th Streets, they march through Maimonides Parking Lot to the beach, where the official ceremony is held. • Sunset Park _ Sunday, June 29, 2025 _ from 10 am to 2 pm - American Independence Day Parade. The event begins at 10 am with a mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 526 59th Street. The parade assembles between 5th & 6th Avenues before stepping off at 59th Street at 11.30 am. The parade marches north along 5th Avenue ending at 43rd Street. Following the parade there will be a barbeque hosted by the parishioners of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church at 702 48th Street in tandem with the Knights of Columbus.
