The parade begins at Meeker Avenue, travels along Graham Avenue to Flushing Avenue and Broadway in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. The parade starts at 65th Street and marches up to 83rd Street along 18th Avenue. Organized by the Chinese American Social Services.   • Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 11 am to 9 pm - Ramadan Celebration & Bazaar - at the Muslim American Society at 1933 Bath Avenue in the Bath Beach neighborhood of Brooklyn NYC.   • * Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2.30 to 4.30 pm - Holi Celebration in Prospect Park - at Prospect Park Boathouse at 101 East Drive in the northeast section of Prospect Park near Crown Heights and Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn.   • * Prospect Park _ Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 11.30 am to 2 pm - Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration - at the Prospect Park Boathouse & Audubon Center in Prospect Park. A number of cultural performances, as well as gift bags for the first 100 to enter. Organized by the Chinese American Planning Council.   • * Park Slope _ Sunday, March 15, 2026 beginning at 10.30 am, Speeches at 1 pm & parade kicks off at 1.30 pm - 51st Annual Brooklyn Saint Patrick's Parade. At 10.30 am there's a church service at Holy Name of Jesus Church at 245 Prospect Park West. The St. Patrick's Day parade assembly begins at Bartel-Pritchard Square at 14th Street [assembly stretches to 9th St] at the southwest corner of Prospect Park in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. At 1 pm there's a dedication. At 1.30 pm the parade kicks off at Prospect Park West and 15th St and then marches to 7th Avenue. It turns right onto 7th Avenue & marches to Garfield Place, where it turns right again heading back to Prospect Park West, where it turns right again & circles back to 15th Street where there's a celebration / after party from 2 - 5 pm at Holy Name of Jesus Church at 245 Prospect Park West.   • * Crown Heights _ Sunday, March 15, 2026 [opens at 10 am] from 11 am to 4 pm - Classical Kids Fair - at the Brooklyn Childrens Museum at 145 Brooklyn Avenue in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. They describe the event as follows, " ... Touch, try, and play string and percussion instruments alongside NYC’s top classical musicians ... Compose your own music, dance with ballet professionals, watch live performances, and join group sing-alongs ...".   • * Bay Ridge _ Sunday, March 22, 2026 beginning at 1 pm - 31st Annual Bay Ridge Brooklyn Saint Patrick's Parade. In the past, but no mention this year, they turned west off of Marine Avenue and ending into Owl's Head Park for an after gathering in Bay Ridge.   • * NYC _ Thursday, April 2, 3 & 5, 2026 - Christian Lent Ends, Holy Friday & Easter - celebrated respectively. Easter commemorates the Biblical stories of Christ's death on the cross and resurrection from the dead.
  • * Friday, Saturday & Sunday, April 3, 4 & 5, 2026 beginning at 6.40 pm, 2 pm & 2 pm respectively - Brooklyn Cyclones Home Opener & Series - at Maimonides Park in Brooklyn. The Cyclones Minor League baseball team, is a High A team [it's the third tier just below AAA and AA] affiliated with the Mets. The parade then turns right [eastward] on 75th Street [aka Bay Ridge Parkway], before turning left [resumes northward journey] onto 5th Avenue, to 67th Street at which time it turns right [eastward again] marching alongside Lief Ericson Park where it ends between 6th and 7th Avenues where the reviewing stand is. There was a fly over by the U.S. Navy on Tuesday afternoon [5/23/23] over the East Coast Memorial at Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan. In addition to three U.S. Navy ships, there will also be ships from Italy, Canada and the U.K. The ships will be docked at Piers 88 & 90 on the west side of Manhattan, as well as at the Homeport Pier on Staten Island.   • Carnarsie _ Monday, May 26, 2025 from 10 am - 12 noon - Brooklyn Canarsie Lions Club Memorial Day Parade - Assembly begins in the parking lot of the Holy Family Church at 9719 Flatlands Avenue. The parades heads southeast along East 98th Street to Avenue M. It then turns right heading southwest along Avenue M before turning right heading northwest along Remson Avenue, where the parade marches a couple of blocks before stopping at the Carnarsie Cemetery to honor the fallen. After the cemetery commemoration ceremony, the parade continues north on Remson turning right onto Conklin Avenue, ending at the American Legion at 1130 East 92nd Street. The parade proceeds down to Marine Avenue, up to 4th Avenue, then over to John Paul Jones Park for their memorial service which includes bag pipes, flag raising and wreath laying by Veteran Service Organizations. This is followed by a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps by the Veteran Corps of Artillery. Organized by the United Military Veterans of Kings County.   • Sunset Park _ Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 5 to 9 pm - 9th Annual Sunset Park Puerto Rican Day Parade & Festival. The parade begins at 5 pm along 5th Avenue at 59th Street, and marches up to 43rd Street. At at 6.30 pm the Sunset Park Puerto Rican Day festival begins in Sunset Park. There will be a couple of bands, including at least one salsa band as well as food for sale via trucks. Parades in the Sunset Park neighborhood of BK.   • Coney Island _ Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 1 to 5 pm - Coney Island Mermaid Parade - begins assembly at 10 am and then at 1 pm begins marching east along Surf Avenue from West 21st Street [heading east] to West 10th Street, where it turns south toward the Boardwalk. At the Boardwalk it heads east again and ends at Steeplechase Plaza. At around 4 pm beginning at the Judge's stand along Surf Avenue between West 15th & 16th Streets, they march through Maimonides Parking Lot to the beach, where the official ceremony is held.   • Sunset Park _ Sunday, June 29, 2025 _ from 10 am to 2 pm - American Independence Day Parade. The event begins at 10 am with a mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 526 59th Street. The parade assembles between 5th & 6th Avenues before stepping off at 59th Street at 11.30 am. The parade marches north along 5th Avenue ending at 43rd Street. Following the parade there will be a barbeque hosted by the parishioners of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church at 702 48th Street in tandem with the Knights of Columbus.
