Things To Do in Brooklyn this Weekend / Events NYC
NOVEMBER is the month when we transition to Daylight Savings Time and give Thanks for all that we have been given.
This month look for the NYC Marathon, Veterans Day Commemorations , Thanksgiving, Black Friday and the beginning of the holiday season.
There are also new exhibits at the Brooklyn Museum, performances and film at BAM, new plays and theatrical productions at St Ann's Warehouse, Narrows Community Theater, BAM and those performed by the Gallery Players. Open House NY returns this month, providing an opportunity to tour 270 of NYC's cultural and architectural sites in all 5 boroughs. Also, ongoing farmers markets & street fairs, and the winding up of holiday markets and events.
The November photo featured above was taken at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in a prior year. Nature has a calming effect on us, which is particularly important during these turbulent times. Enjoy.
