* The Brooklyn Academy of Music / BAM at 30 Lafayette Avenue in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn is hosting performances of Medea which is an adaptation of Euripides play by Simon Stone. The play will be performed weekdays and weekends through March 8th, skipping some Mondays and Sundays [like 1/26]. Generally the play begins at 7.30 pm, but there are a few matinees. * The Brooklyn Historical Society at 128 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn Heights has several exhibits that run through May. The most topical is Taking Care of Brooklyn: Stories of Sickness & Health, which is a history of disease and public health in Brooklyn [ends June 6, 2022]. A Queer Look at Brooklyn runs through May 31, 2020 and celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots last year.
